How to distinguish the quality of rock wool sandwich panels?

Firstly, see whether the color of the rock wool core material is uniform and whether the yellow and white classification is serious; secondly, whether the glue is agglomerated; lastly, the slag content, and whether there is large slag. A good rock wool core material has thin cotton filaments, yellow color, uniform glue distribution, no large amount of slag, and a relatively flat overall, without damage and stains that hinder use.

2. The combustion performance of the inner core of the rock wool board is non-combustible, the moisture absorption is 3.9%, the thermal load shrinkage temperature is 643°, and the organic content is 2.9%.

3. Constituent materials: color steel plate, rock wool

Density of rock wool sandwich board: rock wool 100 (kg/m³)

Thermal conductivity: 0.04 (W/m.k)

Working temperature of rock wool board: 80 (℃)

Specifications: 950, 1150 (mm)

4. The weight of the rock wool sandwich panel

The bulk density of rock wool is generally 80~130kg/m³. Based on cost and different needs, 80kg is generally used, but rock wool above 100kg has very strong waterproof and fireproof performance.

The key point of the sandwich panel is the inner core part. Only when the high quality of rock wool is ensured, the panel will have quality assurance.
